Community Projects

In recent years, youth and community funding has been cut drastically.

Funding for youth work has dropped by approximately £387m between 2010 and 2016 according to date compiled by Unison. Most local councils have reduced funding in this area. We believe that addressing the root causes of crime requires investing in young people and communities, giving them support and alternatives to a life of crime.

The Foundation will reverse the trend of underinvestment in young people and communities by giving funding to projects that are doing excellent work, but are struggling to stay afloat. The first three organisations to receive grants will be announced shortly.
